City Code. Contains the local ordinances which, along with State and Federal codes and laws, shape our city and its services.
City Council. Exercises the legislative power of the City of Bloomington and determines all City policies.
City Departments. Perform services and activities as directed by the City Council and City policies.
City Manager. Enforces ordinances and resolutions, appoints City employees, spearheads strategic planning and budgeting, and recommends action to the Council that will protect Bloomington citizens and provide efficient operation of government.
Advisory boards and commissions. Gathers information and advises the City Council on specific issues.
