Webcasts

The City of Bloomington provides access to its City Council and Planning Commission meetings via live Webcasts during the meetings. Archived meetings from the most recent twelve months are also available for viewing at your convenience.

On May 1, 2009, the City upgraded its streaming video service. This improved service, called QwikCast, has a robust bandwidth for a more reliable and trouble-free viewing experience. QwikCasts are accessed using Microsoft Silverlight or Windows Media Player (if you are using Internet Explorer). To view archived meetings recorded before May 1, use RealPlayer.

Naomi Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, spoke to nearly 100 youth in Bloomington about leadership, race and diversity. Students explored their own biases and used creative arts to express ideas about breaking down stereotypes.
