In celebration of Older American Month, Human Services presents educational workshops, fun events and activities. This year's educational workshops included "Ethical Issues of Importance in Dealing with Seniors Experiencing Advanced Illness and End of Life Issues" and "Hot Topics in Eldercare – Explore Your Options" The first workshop was geared toward professionals who work with older adults while the 2nd workshop featured 5 panelists who provided participants with an overview of key topics including housing, elder law, home care, move management, and funeral pre-planning. Fun activities included a special lunch with Blue Ribbon Baker Marjorie Johnson. Marjorie, an older adult has won over 1000 Blue Ribbons and has appeared on national television shows including "The Tonight Show" and "The View".
