Free income tax assistance at Creekside
Tax assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals who meet income-qualifying guidelines. Beginning on Thursday, January 24, AccountAbility Minnesota and AARP will be available to prepare your taxes on the following dates and times. You must meet eligibility criteria as noted.
Taxpayers with complex tax returns are advised to seek paid tax assistance.
Qualifying guidelines: annual income of $30,000 or less for individuals and total annual income $50,000 or less for families. Help is provided on a first come, first served basis.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 24 - April 16 from 5:45 -9:30 p.m.
- Saturdays January 26 - April 13, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Qualifying guidelines: Tax payers with low to moderate income.
- Mondays and Tuesdays, February 4 - April 15, from 9 a.m. - Noon.
- Fridays March 15 - April 12, 9 a.m. - Noon.
The following tax forms will be available at Creekside at no charge:
Federal forms: 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, 2441, Schedule A/B, Schedule D, and EIC
Minnesota forms: M1 and M1PR
