Volunteer with us
Human Services works with more than 300 volunteers each year in programs, activities and special events.
Volunteers may choose to assist at one time special events or to volunteer on an on-going basis.
Available volunteer opportunities:
City diner server
Assist with preparations for daily meals offered weekdays and special lunch events which take place several times per month at Creekside. Duties may include greeting diners, decorating, setting tables, serving meals, clearing dishes, and clean up. Volunteers must be able to work on their feet for 2 hours and work well in a team. Position requires a criminal background check authorization form be completed.
Provide dishwashing using a commercial dishwasher at the City Diner. This position does include a complimentary lunch. Volunteers must be able to stand for 1 hour or longer, lift stacks of dishes and work as part of a team. Position requires a criminal background check authorization form be completed.
Frozen meal delivery driver
Consider becoming a volunteer for the Optage Senior Dining Choices program by delivering meals to individual's homes and/or apartments.
Coffee Room Worker
Make coffee for visitors, keep tables clean, keep supplies full, and greet newcomers in the library at Creekside. Volunteers will need to work with minimal supervision. Position requires a criminal background check authorization form be completed.

Already a volunteer?
Volgistics allows volunteers access to their schedules and job assignments from home. Volunteers can add additional shifts or sign up for new volunteer opportunities. They can also receive a record of the hours they have worked.
