About the Farmers Market
The Bloomington Farmers Market is a weekly gathering in which farmers, growers and producers
sell their own products directly to the public, allowing consumers to have a direct
relationship with the producer of the items they purchase. The market emphasizes quality and
freshness.
At the market you will find a great variety of fresh locally grown produce as well as cut
flowers, meat, cheese, honey, maple syrup, berries, fresh baked goods, jams and jellies,
pickles, coffee, smoothies, kettle corn and unique art. There are more than 40 vendors each
week at the market!
The market also features music and special activities.
Parking at the Farmers Market
New in 2012, the market will be expanding its footprint to cover the entire east parking lot at Civic Plaza. There will no longer be handicapped parking adjacent to the market, but extra handicapped parking will be added at the north end of the west lot and across 98th Street in the Public Works east parking lot.

This change will make the market safer for guests in addition to providing space for additional vendors and an expanded seating area.
EBT/SNAP and Credit Card tokens are now accepted at the Market!
Bring your EBT or Credit Card to the City information tent to purchase tokens to be used at the market. These tokens can be used to make purchases from participating vendors at stalls displaying the “We accept EBT and Credit Card” signs. You can spend tokens right away or you can save them for another day when you return to the market. There is no fee to use EBT or Credit Cards.
EBT customers will also receive up to $5 worth of matching Market Bucks every Saturday they visit the market. The Market Bucks program is provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota.
The EBT/Market Bucks brochure is available in the following languages:
