The American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program teaches people to swim and helps them to be safe when they are in, on or around water. The program covers skills and knowledge in a logical progression for aquatic skill development. As participants develop these skills, they will become safer and better swimmers.

It's easy to register for swimming lessons on our Web site. Just go to Online Program Services and follow the directions for creating or accessing your account online.

Registration policies

Payment must accompany all registrations. You will not be considered registered until payment has been received.
Deadline for registration is 1 week prior to the start of the session, by 4 p.m. that day.

Cancellation policies

We reserve the right to cancel any class for any reason. If a class is cancelled by us, you will be notified and will receive a full refund.
If you choose to cancel at least 2 weeks before the start of class, you will receive a refund minus a $10 processing fee.
Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to class start date in order to receive a partial refund.
No refunds will be given if you choose to cancel within 2 weeks of the start of class.

Transfer/change policies

For any transfer between classes or sessions, there will be a $10 processing fee per participant per transfer/change made.
Transfers between participants will not be allowed.

Weather/class makeups

There are no makeups for missed classes on the participant's part.
There are no refunds or credits given for missed classes.

If a class is cancelled by Parks and Recreation, the last Friday of the session is used as a class make-up day.
