TRAIL: Get on Board!Transportation Resource to Aid Independent Living
TRAIL (Transportation Resource to Aid Independent Living) provides transportation services for developmentally disabled adults to recreational and educational programs sponsored by AR&LE (Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange). TRAIL's riders live on their own in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina and Richfield. Through donations and fundraising, TRAIL subsidizes the cost of transportation, so riders pay a nominal fee for each ride. TRAIL is a nonprofit service organization formed in 1990 by parents, consumers, and professionals.
