Join your friends and family at the Normandale Lake Bandshell on select Thursdays this summer for one of our special Thursday Blockbuster shows.

These free shows feature some of the best entertainment in the Twin Cites as well as food venders to handle your dinner plans.

Thursday Blockbusters 2009 calendar
June 18 7 - 9 p.m.	A Celtic Solstice Featuring Ring of Kerry and Michael McCoy bagpiper. Hear and see many traditional Celtic styles of music and dance.
July 9 6:30 - 10 p.m.	80s Music Explosion Featuring PopRocks, one of the Twin Cities top 80s cover bands. An annual favorite.
July 23 6 - 10 p.m.	Latin Music Night Featuring Ticket to Brasil (6 p.m.) and Charanga Tropical (8 p.m.). Hear the best in samba, bossa nova, salsa, mambo and more.
July 30 6 - 10 p.m.	Rock Show Featuring Consolation Champ (6 p.m.) and the Chris Hawkey Band (8 p.m.). Local favorites Consolation Champ will showcase their great acoustic abilities, while KFAN personality Chris Hawkey will rock the house with many well known originals.
August 6 6 - 10 p.m.	Blues and Bar-B-Q Featuring Blues prodigy Ross William Perry (6 p.m.) and the great Big Walter Smith and the Groove Merchants (8 p.m.), back for another big blues show. Famous Dave's Bar-B-Q will take care of your dinner plans.
