Who stands between kids and alcohol?PSA reveals the answer
The answer to this question reveals who has the ability to to influence youth to not drink alcohol. It doesn't specify certain individuals, really, but the the fact that it is important for all these individuals to work together to discourage underage drinking. The importance of this answer is in protecting youth. Car crashes, violence, and other serious health issues can all be consequences of underage drinking. Bloomington Public Health staff, on behalf of Tri-City Partners Coalition, partnered with Bloomington Educational Cable TV (BECTV) to produce the PSA answering this question. It was produced as part of the annual Together We Stand Campaign promoting alcohol-free environments for youth. Tom Ringdal, director BECTV, Nora Smith, BECTV intern and Paul Fournier, camera operator, were responsible for pulling it ALL together (pictured above). The impressive end result is thanks to their time and dedication to this project from planning all the shoots to final editing. What's the answer?The PSA's big reveal will take place throughout the community including at the schools.
