Seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccination

  • Two H1N1 vaccine clinics have been scheduled in March:

  • Both seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccine are available to all Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield residents through June 2010 at immunization clinics.

    Immunization clinics are held the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 3:00-5:30 p.m. at the Public Health Center.


If you are attending the clinic, please remember the following:

  • Shots will be given to persons 6 months of age and older. No appointment is necessary; short sleeves are suggested.
  • Cost for the seasonal flu shot is $25. Medicare Part B and some insurance are also accepted.
  • There is no cost for H1N1 vaccination, but bring your insurance card if you have one.
  • Come with your child. Children under 18 years must have a parent or guardian present.

Take simple precautions to prevent getting and spreading the flu

  • Get your flu shot.
  • Cover your cough with a sleeve or tissue.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • If you have flu symptoms, stay home for 24 hours after fever subsides. Flu symptoms include fatigue, fever, chills, body ache, and sore throat.
