Emergency Management

Disaster response planning and coordination of City departments during a disaster are the responsibility of the Emergency Management Unit. The unit notifies the public of disasters by using sophisticated warning and notification equipment, such as the outdoor warning siren system. Tornado Awareness, Winter Storm Awareness and other hazard awareness programs are also conducted by Emergency Management.
