Normandale Lake

The City of Bloomington petitioned the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District for a project to improve the water quality of Normandale Lake and to address the Curlyleaf Pondweed issue. In recent years, water quality data has shown that Normandale Lake water quality has improved to the point that in 2009 it met the District’s Level 2 water quality classification as well as State of Minnesota water quality standards for shallow lakes. The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is currently collecting additional water quality data and analyzing possible actions to address the Curlyleaf Pondweed.
