Normandale Lake Bandshell84th Street and Chalet Road![]() A crowd of music lovers sits on the grass and listens to a bandshell concert. Normandale Lake Park's recreational services include a bandshell and park shelter, which host up to 35 events annually. The bandshell is primarily used for Arts in the Parks programs, including Bloomington Fine Arts Council events. A limited number of rental opportunities may exist on a space-available basis. The bandshell was designed by Foundation Architects / Consultants P.A. in the spring of 2001. It is located on the north side of Normandale Lake and can accommodate crowds from 100 to over 5,000 spectators. Amenities include a covered, 53 x 35-foot stage; sound and lighting system; meeting room; dressing rooms; and public restrooms on the exterior of the building.
