Ride the Zamboni

Take a closer look at the Bloomington Ice Garden's four Zamboni ice resurfacers. The Zamboni Ice Resurfacers shave, wash and pour the ice on all three rinks at the Bloomington Ice Gardens. Ice at the arenas is made with water purified through a reverse osmosis system. The Bloomington Ice Garden uses two 100-ton refrigeration units to keep everything frozen. The pure water freezes at a higher temperature which saves energy and creates better quality ice.
