Information about summer programs in 2010

Is there anything better on a hot summer day than playing at the beach?

Kids playing on the beach.

A key component of the Hyland-Bush-Anderson Lakes Park Reserve external link, Bush Lake Beach has provided exceptional recreation to millions of Minnesotans since 1956. Bush Lake is one of the state’s most popular beaches with over 100,000 visitors per year.

A daily pass or seasonal parking permit is required for entrance to Bush Lake from June 1 through August 31. You may purchase a pass for the beach before it opens on June 12, at the Parks and Recreation counter at Bloomington Civic Plaza or at Bush Lake starting June 12.

Want access to lots of play and swimming amenities? Give the Bloomington Family Aquatic Center a try.

We also offer swimming lessons at the Aquatic Center and at Bush Lake Beach.
