The South Metro Public Safety Training Facility is a collaborative effort of the Fire and Police Departments of the Cities of Eden Prairie, Edina and Bloomington and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Police Department. This facility provides a place for public safety personnel to practice skills and conduct training on their own, and it is used to host local, regional and nationally recognized training courses. The center also hosts the Minnesota DNR firearm safety program for the general public. The facility is available for rental by non-members.
