First page of the News, July 1987
The City's first newsletter News was published in July 1987. Two issues were printed the first year with circulation limited to Bloomington Sun-Current subscribers. Written by assistants to the Mayor and the City Manager, the newsletter was typeset and laid on white boards using Xacto knives and rubber cement.

A few years ago, approximately 10 bat houses were constructed and installed around Bloomington lakes and wetlands as part of an Eagle Scout project by Nathan Braman.

This four-color, tabloid newsletter is sent to all single-family households and businesses. For your downloading convenience, we offer two sizes of files: the entire newsletter or one page at a time.
