To find updates regarding other projects, go to major road construction projects. October 2011October 13, 2011Paving of the final layer of bituminous is complete. Punch list work remains. October 7, 2011Final sod/seed installation is complete. Paving of the final layer of bituminous is anticipated to complete by the end of the day Friday, October 7. September 2011September 30, 2011Final sod/seed installation has started and will continue the week of October 3. Paving of the final layer of bituminous is scheduled for the week of October 3. September 23, 2011Final Concrete work is complete. Final sod/seed installation is scheduled for the week of September 26. The Contractor anticipates paving the final layer of bituminous late in the week of September 26 or the week of October 3. September 16, 2011Xcel Energy has completed their private utility installation for the development. Final Concrete work is scheduled for the week of September 19 with final sod/seed installation to follow. September 9, 2011Final testing of the water main is complete. Final abandonments of the old water main are complete. Concrete walk installation at Louisiana/Jersey Rd and on W 113th St will occur upon completion of private utility installation. Private utility installation for the development has started and will continue the week of September 12. The remaining seed and sod installation will occur upon completion of the concrete walk installation. September 6, 2011Final testing of the sanitary sewer is complete. Final abandonments of the old sanitary sewer are complete. Final testing of the water main is anticipated to complete the week of September 5. Final abandonments of the old water main have started and will continue the week of September 5. Concrete walk installation at Louisiana/Jersey Rd and on W 113th St will occur upon completion of private utility installation. Private utility installation for the development is scheduled to start the week of September 5. Raising of manholes and gate valves is complete. The remaining seed and sod installation will occur upon completion of the concrete walk installation.
August 2011August 26, 2011Final bacteria testing for the new water main as well as final testing of the sanitary sewer is anticipated to complete the week of August 29. Upon completion of water main and sanitary testing, final abandonments of the old water main and sanitary sewer are anticipated to be done late in the week of August 29. The first layer of bituminous has been placed. Raising of manholes and gate valves has started and will complete the week of August 29. Seed and sod installation is scheduled to occur the week of August 29. August 19, 2011Concrete curb & gutter installation is complete. Final bacteria testing for the new water main is currently being done. Grading of Class 5 for the final layer of bituminous has started and will continue the week of August 22. The first layer of bituminous is scheduled to be placed the week of August 22 with raising of the manholes and gate valves to follow. Final testing of the sanitary sewer will occur after the manholes have been raised. August 12, 2011Placement of Class 5 for street construction has started and will continue early in the week of August 15. Concrete curb & gutter installation is scheduled for early in the week of August 15. Final bacteria testing for the new water main and testing for the sanitary sewer has been slightly delayed to allow for street grading and is anticipated to occur the week of August 15. August 5, 2011Water main, sanitary sewer and storm sewer installation along with services is complete. Pressure testing of the water main is complete with bacteria testing to occur the week of August 8. Testing of the sanitary sewer is anticipated to complete August 5. Grading for street construction has started and will continue the week of August 8. The contractor anticipates to begin placing Class 5 the week of August 8. July 2011July 29, 2011The contractor has a noise variance to allow work to begin at 7 am on Saturday, July 30 to work on storm sewer. The contractor has finished sanitary sewer and water main service installation. Water main installation on the north side of the subdivision remains and is scheduled for early in the week of August 1. Pressure testing of segments of the water main has started and bacteria testing is anticipated to begin the week of August 1. Testing of the sanitary sewer is anticipated to occur late in the week of August 1. Storm sewer installation continues and will continue the week of August 1. The contractor anticipates to begin grading for street construction late in the week of August 1. July 22, 2011The contractor has finished sanitary sewer main installation and has started on sanitary service installation which will continue the week of July 25. Water main installation is nearly complete with only the mainline on north side of the subdivision remaining. Water service installation has started and will continue the week of July 25. Storm sewer installation continues and will continue the week of July 25. July 15, 2011The contractor has finished sanitary sewer main installation in the area with sanitary sewer service installation remaining. Storm sewer and Water main installation will continue the week of July 18. July 8, 2011The contractor has finished sanitary sewer main installation in the area with sanitary sewer service installation remaining. Storm sewer and Water main installation will continue the week of July 11. July 1, 2011The contractor continues sanitary sewer installation in the area and will continue into the week of July 4. Storm sewer installation has also started in the area and will continue the week of July 4. Water main installation will begin the week of July 4. June 2011June 24, 2011The contractor has started sanitary sewer installation in the area, which will continue Saturday, June 25 and into the week of June 27. June 20, 2011A preconstruction conference was held on June 16. The Contractor may begin with sanitary sewer installation late in the week of June 20 otherwise installation will start the week of June 27. June 10, 2011A preconstruction conference is anticipated to be scheduled for the week of June 13.
